Puppy Classes

Puppy Classes are run as a 6 week block course.
You will learn all aspects of puppy care, socialisation through to basic obedience training and general behaviour problems.
After each lesson in the 6 weeks puppy course, you will receive handout sheets with information relating to exercises that you have learnt in class. This will enable you to carry on with your training at home during the week ahead.
On your first night of the course, you will receive a complementary free gift from K9 Training & Behaviour. This gift will assist you whenever you train your puppy, but will be an essential aid, while training your puppy on the puppy course.
Training is all about making it fun and rewarding to your puppy!
Once you have completed the puppy course you can then join the General Obedience class for just £5.00 per lesson where you will put into practise all that you have learnt and progress to a more advanced level learning find it, fetch, scent work, and much, much more!
Completion Of 6 Week Puppy Course
At the end of the 6 week course, you will receive a certificate to say that you have completed the Puppy course, as well as a special treat for your puppy.
General Obedience Class
Every Tuesday Night 8pm - 9pm
&
Every Thursday Night 7pm - 8pm
Cost: £5.00 per lesson lasting 1 hour
Once you have completed the Puppy class, you can then join the General Obedience class for just £5.00 per lesson where you will put into practise all that you have learnt and progress to a more advanced level, learning more lead control, recalls, waits, stays, find it, fetch, scent work, and much much more! Also its a chance for your puppy to mix with older dogs in a controlled environment, with a fun and friendly atmosphere which you and your dog will enjoy!
For those who haven't attended the puppy course and your dog is 6 months or over, you can still join the General Obedience class for just £5.00 per lesson, along with a one off membership fee of £10.00 for the year! This class is also ideal for older dogs that may not have had any previous training.
In the summer when the weather is good we will also be training outside in the field area, where you can put into practise all that you have learnt in the hall, for example; recalls and walking to heel on a loose lead.
The Hall
We are based in the Jack Silley Hall in Stonards Hill Recreation Ground.
A large hall situated in the recreation ground which is ideal for outside training when the weather is fine! The hall has 20 free parking spaces which can be accessed via Tidys Lane (see map under find us). The hall also has friendly wheel-chair access and disabled toilet facilities for those who might require them. There will be free tea, coffee & biscuits & soft drinks for anyone either training their dog or those who are watching.
